As CEO of Baked by Melissa, I hired, trained and led a team responsible for the resurgence of the brand and substantial increases in revenue and profitability. Upon my arrival at Baked by Melissa, Melissa and I restructured the merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, retail and bakery operations of the organization to be more efficient, happy, and goal oriented. We defined the brand and used that definition as our guiding light. The company experienced drastically improved financial results. The e-commerce business grew rapidly as did company revenue, profitability and associate happiness.
